I am a PhD candidate in the Materials Science and Engineering Division at Boston University. I work towards development of electrochemical biosensors in Grinstaff lab at Boston University. I have prior experience working with ionic liquids as electrolytes for high temperature energy storage applications.

During my Master's degree in Materials Science at Rice University, I worked with Dr. Enrique Barrera on polymer coatings to improve the mechanical properties of glass. After completion of Master's degree, I worked as an intern at Magna Imperio Systems, startup company based in Houston where I was involved with developing a novel water desalination technology.

I am a Chemical Engineer by training and during my undergraduate degree, I received research opportunities at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research, India.
